About
David Squires is a retired university professor. During his teaching career, he taught middle school students how to think and explore in math and history and while he was a university professor, he taught teachers how to teach children and methods of fostering creativity in students. Through his career, he has developed several games that have been used in teaching students and has written numerous articles on the learning styles of children.
A former student of his commented, “I learned more about active learning from Professor Squires than any other professor. He helped me be better.”
He and his wife Lois are the proud parents of six children and have numerous grandchildren that bring joy to their lives. David spends time researching family history and living the scripture and firmly believes that “when you are in the service of your fellow beings, you are only in the service of your God.”
