Krystal Smith earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education at the University of Montana and her Master’s Degree in Positive Psychology from the University of Missouri. A much-loved teacher and coach, she was a Nevada Teacher of the Year State finalist and has been a five-time Coach of the Year.
Krystal has presented multiple times at the International Modern Schools Conference on topics such as Blended Learning in a Middle School Classroom and Professional Learning Communities. With 10 years of classroom and blended learning centers experience, she has taught Grades 4 – Grades 8 and supported student learning in high school math courses. Krystal is well-respected for her work in digital instruction and course development and has spent the past four years coaching teachers on effective teaching practices in a digital learning environment.
